Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

The Glasspar was born in 1949, when Major Ken Brooks showed California fiberglass boat builder, Bill Tritt, the hot rod he was building. It was a stripped down Willys with a modified V-8. Tritt convinced Brooks to clothe the car in fiberglass. The G2, according to records, was the first production fiberglass-bodied car. An example is in the Smithsonian Institution. The first model was shown at the Philadelphia Plastics Show in 1952, and appeared in many newspapers and national magazines.
Wheelbase is 101 inches with the engine set back for better weight distribution. Cars were first fitted with Willys Flathead 6 or Ford Flathead V-8’s. This car runs the later Ford Y-Block V-8, with tri-carburetors coupled to a 1940’s Ford truck three-speed transmission, all mounted on an early 1940’s Ford frame.
With over 40 years of experience in the design industry, Rick's professional journey is rich. He joined Corbin Design in 1992, rapidly advancing to Technology Director in 1994 and later to Vice President in 1999. After almost three decades, he transitioned away from Corbin Design in 2020 to concentrate on his own business. Rick's earlier career includes freelance illustration in Los Angeles and Chicago and work as a production artist in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Academically, he majored in theater at Eastern Michigan University and studied illustration at Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles.
